Freudian Slips....
So last night my fella Jack and I were at a local watering hole playing Keno and watching the Wings destroy the sharks while enjoying a few Bud lights (with olives, yes olives it adds a bit of salt to the brew and to me that's just yummy). I of course was rambling on about my new gig here at W4 and telling Jack how talented I think Adam Rey is when all of the sudden I said..."he is not gonna have quick success, he will be one of those guys that has sustained sex..." Jack looked at me and said nice 'Freudian slip'. As stunned as Jack was I was more stunned at myself and I am pretty sure that it was the Bud lights that were messing with my speech but really, how strange. I mean I never thought of Adam that way and I am crazy, head over heels about Jack but who knows, right. So today on the air I told the story and asked what your worst Freudian slip was. Well, I didn't get any calls and 5 minutes after I told the story I got a nasty e-mail from a lady that said my sex talk was crude and if she wanted to hear that she would listen to other stations. Being new here at W4 I didn't want to chance upsetting anyone so I dropped the topic. But believe me, I am sure I am not the first gal to stick her foot so deeply into her mouth. To bad some people can't loosen up a bit and have fun with the silly things that happen in life.

How Do You Reduce Stress?
Today I woke up in a fowl mood and stressed. Stressed about what you may ask? I am not really sure; I just felt the world weighing down on me. Now usually I talk my puppy for a walk through the park but as I said I was in a fowl mood and could not get my butt in gear. Taking her a walk just was not going to happen with time ticking away. So I asked, how do you reduce stress?!?! I got some great answers…chocolate, (yummy), go tanning, play video games, or take your son fishing. (I don’t have a son so that last one just won’t work for me). I received a number of calls from people who take their motorcycles out and hit the open road and the classic response, work out. If I worked out I would not have hips the size of a small hatchback and if I rode a bike I would at the least cause myself a head injury. So even through all the answers were great, I am going with the chocolate and tanning…aka bigger hips and skin cancer.
Hope your day is stress free!

Who Would You Like To Slap?!
I so completed exhausted of hearing about Ann Nicole Smith! Don’t get me wrong, she was beautiful, interesting, outrageous, and tragic but enough is enough. Now, I am the first to admit that I was shocked and glued to the TV the day she died and I was hungry for more information but please, media stop, we know enough. Last night I was thinking that I wanted to slap the next reporter that did a story about her or her family. That got me thinking, who would you like to slap? The responses were awesome!!! The person that most people wanted to slap was Rosie and Tom Cruise came in second. (I hate Tom so I loved all those calls!) Bad drivers got a few votes as well as President Bush. The calls made me smile and feel better about all the idiots we encounter every day that drive us nuts!
Oh and just for the record, I am not a violent person…at least I think I am not…

What's Your Food Addiction?
Today a read an article that said a new study shows that you can addicted to certain foods. Our brains "light up" when we see or smell our favorite foods, similar to when a cocaine addict see crack. So, I was interested in what your favorite food is, what lights you up? The response was great, here are just a few that agree with...peanut butter straight out of the jar on a spoon, chicken wings and draft beer, mac and cheese, and french fries! But there were some odd addictions...hamburger buns plain/empty, also ketchup and butter sandwich. Of course there was one healthy entry, caesar salad. Over all I loved hearing what everyone's trigger food was but I must say that I am still holding strong to my favorite, ice cream. Now if you want to narrow it down, it's Ben and Jerry's (Go Green) 'Chubby Hubby' it's incredible, and the most amazing thing is that the pretzels stay crisp! Thank you to everyone for opening up and sharing your favorite foods, you made this morning a lot fun!
Talk to you soon and be sure to try the Chubby Hubby, you will not be disappointed!
